By God’s grace, Ontario Bible Camp has been touching lives with the Gospel of Jesus Christ for nearly 100 years. So many people have shared powerful testimonies of what OBC has meant to their lives and we wanted to share a few of those stories with you!

“I feel blessed by the Lord to be starting my 8th decade of summers at our Lakeview cottage at OBC. I have been a camper, counselor, groundskeeper, dishwasher and garbage collector (my favorite job!). My parents and my son Josh and his wife Laura met at Camp and were married in the Tabernacle. I became a Christian and dedicated my life at OBC. I heard life-changing preaching and teaching, met wonderful friends and seen 5 generations of my family come and go at Lakeview. And so “I thank my God every time I remember you and I always pray with great joy because of your partnership in the gospel from first day until now.”

I enjoyed working with the campers and seeing them grow in their talents and using their creativity to show Gods love.

“Ontario Bible Camp will always be a place that I treasure … I went to summer camp there for the first time at age 7, continued with fall retreats, countless work days and many more weeks of fun camp days where I began to serve up until I was in college. I learned how to embrace getting up in front of people to do skits, silly songs, many activities as well as friendly competitions— all while being surrounded by God’s creation and the beauty of His love through caring staff and cottage owners. OBC was a part of preparing me to be the woman of God that I am today. I am so grateful to have had the opportunities to be a part of what God has done and will continue to do in the lives that are touched by Him through the ministers and servants at OBC.”

All three of my kids attended Ontario Bible Camp for the first time this year. I loved seeing the updates and pictures of how much fun they were having. By the time I picked them up they didn’t want to leave. They learned about God, but also learned about themselves. Thank you, Ontario Bible Camp!

“What does OBC mean to me? It starts with my parent’s wonderful opportunity to purchase a cottage, then serving for almost 40 years as board members there. Godly training through my adolescent years. Christian relationships during those very awkward early teenage years. The place where I rededicated my life to Christ when I was 16 years old at a campfire on the bluff. Serving the Lord with children and staff and finding sufficiency in Christ for the 24 hrs x 6 day responsibilities of spiritual leadership to the campers. The place where I discovered Christian young ladies with whom I could form dating relationships. Then finding my wife, now of 37 years! Together we served the Lord, we became camp program directors, and she became camp cook and I a board member for over 20 years. Then we had the joy and privilege of sending our son to camp when he was 8 years old. Through the years he too became a staff member. I cannot express enough Praise to God for the ministry of OBC… it truly has shaped and changed our lives!
